Krista Says:
the Centre d'Art i Natura is an oasis of comfort and luxury in the
quiet, mountain living of the pyrenees. my wonderful experience there

will stay with me for the rest of my life.

the first thing that struck me about Farrera was that it is more
remote and quiet than i had ever imagined. it is a tiny village made

rocks, inhabited by kind people, some sheep, deer, a few horses and
roaming cats.

from the very start of the this residency i was aware that it was up
to me to be in the present and focus on my work. it is isolated, but
not lonely, as the comfort of the building, the incredible, healthy
food and extraordinary people make you feel very much at home.

i am proud of the work i made there, the landscape is inspiring and
the studio space is glorious. but even more, i feel enriched. enriched
with the connections i made with the other residents, with the land,
and the amazing Cesca and Lluis. their hard work and kindness make The
Centre d'Art i Natura a magical adventure.
