The objectives of this non-profit association are:
1- To provide support for the project of the Centre d’Art i Natura de Farrera by obtaining funds and means to enable it to develop fully.
2- To bring together all those people and institutions expressing interest for the project of the Centre d’Art i Natura de Farrera and to provide a conduit for their economic, material, logistical, intellectual and moral assistance
3- To enhance the task of recovering and protecting Farrera’s cultural and natural heritage, as well as its mountain environment
4- To promote Farrera’s cultural and artistic activity
With over seventy members (mainly from Catalan territory), the association has grown year by year in terms of both its membership and its responsibilities. The annual assembly (normally held at the end of the summer) is its main decision-making body. The board brings to fruition the programme of activities and administers the resources (mainly derived from subscriptions), the distribution of published material and the public and private subsidies and donations.
