This
book is intended as a homage to a man (and a civilisation)
who, through his way of understanding life and his intense
relation with the landscape, who was, and continues to be,
a source of inspiration for many artists and writers who
have passed through the Centre d’Art i Natura, and through
Farrera and its valley.
Some
thirty authors talk about simple things, nature, animals,
food, the weather, work, memory, life and death… An
excellent 30-minute documentary accompanies the book,
helping readers to understand a rural, mountain world that
is coming to an end. Design by Dr. Paper

These notes on morphology present, in an original format, four central articles by speakers from the seminars that, we believe, offer a fine compendium of reflections related to form: The Intelligibility of Forms (Jorge Wagensberg), Living Beings and Form (Paco Lloret), Landscape and Form (Jaume Comas) and Investigating Form (Josep Mañà). Design by Xavier Capmany and Nagore Igarza

In this book, the objective was to anticipate different possible scenarios on the horizon 2010-2020 and to contrast them within the framework of sustainable development. One of the novelties on display is the application of a prospective methodology of the future, in a specific territorial setting that is not very extensive and relatively homogeneous.

In 2001 the association Artists for Nature chose the Mature Forests Projects and twenty nature artists from all over the world, who stayed in the Centre d’Art i Natura and Les Planes de Son to depict the natural and cultural heritage of the magnificent valleys of Pallars Sobirà. The book includes a splendid selection of illustrations of the works created during these stays.
