EXHIBITIONS

Creating in the High Mountains
The exhibition Creating in the High Mountains was promoted and sponsored by the Amics del Centre d’Art i Natura de Farrera in order to make known the distinctive qualities and function of the CAN, as well as the activities it undertakes. Designed by Josep Mañà, a professor in the Massana art school in Barcelona, the show was divided into various sections, based on material taken from its documentary archives and its superb art collections, featuring various artists using a wide variety of media (texts, photographs, audiovisuals, publications, musical compositions, drawings, paintings, etc.). This exhibition, intended as a travelling show, explains and illustrates the origin, ideas and objectives of the Centre d’Art i Natura de Farrera, along with its role as a socio-cultural dynamo.
